Age 22

This was a bizzare dream with an underlying connection to the real world. In this dream, I was a math professor for a secret organization of crime-fighting mathematicians. I had been called before the board of the organization for suspecion of forging answers to math problems. (Maybe due to the Enron/accounting fiasco?). After pouring over pages of long division in a dissertation I wrote, I found I had actually made an error, so they made a motion to discharge me.

I talked a length with the chairman of the board (resembling an old pastor - Charles Williams - at a church I used to attend), lobbying to keep my job as a superhero mathematician, and he tried to persuade other board members to not vote to fire me. In the end, the vote was close, but I got to stay on.

I think this dream is caused by recent events in my life, namely my father losing his job.
