<Text>
In this dream, I was on an operating table, with two surgeons
around me, and three to five nurses moving back and forth from instrument tables
to my table. I was unconscious physically, but I was having an out-of-body
experience in the dream, so I could move around the table and see what was
happening to me.

<Text>
Then, I woke up in first-person on the operating table.
I watched as the surgeons pulled back my right lung to access my beating heart
(on the wrong side in the dream). They reached along the side of my heart and
carefully removed what looked to be a toothpick wit a clump of gum at one end.
The surgeons mentioned the device had been put in backwards, so they simply
turned it over, and started to put it back.

Then, one of the nurses came close and realized I was awake (my head was up to
look at my chest). The nurse was someone from real life (Rose Brown), who warned me,
"You shouldn't be awake!" in a very librarian sort of tone.

<Text>
I started to realize how physically unrealistic this dream had to be,
and that's when I woke up.
