Activities
Since 2002, I have been building solutions for MSI, the premier provider of online hosted document imaging, check processing, remote deposit, and statement printing for financial institutions across the United States. I am continuing to architect and develop within the role of Director of Development at MSI. As the Director of Development, I am responsible for directing the research and development initiatives and overall product growth direction of a highly creative, dynamic company. A 35 year old firm, MSI feels much more like a young dot-com company with a extremely motivated staff, enthusiastic customer base, and some of the most capable and forward-thinking software developers I have come across yet in my professional career.
Moving Forward
I am particularly motivated by large, interconnected distribution networks, specifically in the areas of usability, resource scheduling, data analytics, and network protocol development. I am dedicated in my present role to continuing to collaborate with my peers to develop cutting-edge solutions for MSI, and my goal is to continue to learn about and innovate new payment exchange and distribution systems.
On the side, I am always interested in participating in charitable humanitarian and animal-protection organizations, and am seeking opportunities to use my professional skill set to empower medical and food distribution networks with the same caliber of functionality commerical systems enjoy.
Previous Accomplishments
I have been involved with a number of software development projects, ranging from:
- Developing a process control and operations monitoring framework for one of the largest third-party mailers in Oklahoma City, which has been in continuous operation since 2004.
- Designing a number of fully-functional websites for a number of companies, ranging from small startups to large corporations, including Dobson Communications (now part of AT&T), in the Oklahoma City and Los Angeles metropolitan areas.
- Designing and devleoping a Point-of-Sale (POS) system for the largest science museum in Oklahoma.
- Writing a complete, standards-compliant open source IRC daemon using Microsoft developer tools.
